Over five years of travel, I had the privilege of meeting individuals from vastly different cultures, communities, and walks of life, and this series captures the moments when a stranger became, if only briefly, a subject worth remembering. These portraits range from candid, unguarded expressions caught in passing to quieter, more deliberate images made with the trust and cooperation of the person in frame. What unites them is an interest in the human face as a landscape of its own — lined with history, marked by place, shaped by circumstance.
